Pilot is a time traveler who journeyed back from the future to warn the New Men of an impending invasion. He acts as an advisor to the team, providing them with critical information about their “Nu-Gene” status and the extraterrestrial threats they face. Pilot was the one who revealed to the New Men that their powers were not natural mutations. He explained that the Nu-Gene was actually the result of genetic engineering by an alien race known as The Keep, who intended to use super-powered humans as a slave race.
